Je suis d'accord avec gauthier, à moins que vous voulez que vos objets restent dans l'obscurité, utilisez les noms de variables en anglais (qui peuvent être traduites en français via simutranslator, si incorporé à un pak).  On a déjà ****ez de problème avec les noms en allemand!

J'ai posé la question sur le forum add on pak 128, on va voir.
Comment on met un texte dans le .dat pour qu'il apparaisse dans la description du bâtiment?

I have absolutely nothing against setting constraints, but since I see Aquel having trouble over and over again with .dat files (and constraints) I was wandering why he is keeps on implementing it for mainly testing purposes. Not implementing constraints in those testing situations would make his life a bit easier... (I think/hope)

When posting new objects here Ik try to make the .dat file useable as possible. It is free to everyone to download my images and dat files, modify them and compile 'personalized' pak files to be used in Simutrans. Even questions about it are no problem. But I am not that happy if modified version of my 'sources' are posted here again with the same name... There's the danger of getting very confusing then very simply....

Sorry to answer late I was out for a while.
Regarding the constraints I thought tht you just could not let the constraint with nothing.
This is why I modified it... Sorry if that hurt your feelings.

Promise Next time I'll change the name.
I did not realize it could lead to mistake.
People are supposed to read my post and understand that I modified the files.
Regarding the position I'm using it with a truck I made. So if position is a problem it's my truck and not the trailer.
Anyway i'll have to modify my truck *.png to mkae it work with your trailer.

Les métros après car un ancien membre, ABP, avait fait des métros, malheureusement il y a au une embrouille débile avec lui et il n'a pas continué ses métros, ils sont donc malheureusement en version alpha si on peut dire, le principal problème étant les graphismes très maladroits.

Est ce que tu sais s'il sont toujours dispo ou pas?
Qu'est ce qu'il c'était p****é exactement?
Je me souviens les avoir attendus et puis plus rien...

@VaclavMacurek : problem solved I modified too many things including in the *.png file so obviously could not worked.... ;D
Problem is solved now except minor details to make it looks good!

@martin:  I don't konow if it's my truck or your trailer position but I got some problems with the positions!
Seems your trailer is mixing with the truck!
Did you try and tested it with others truck to check it?

Par contre, à essayer si tu faisais une petite ombre sous le bus quand il est dans la vue que je t'ai montré, je pense qu'on aurait mois l'impression qu'il flotte... du moins c'est l'effet que sa me donne. Qu'est ce que tu en pense?

Mais le problème c'est quelle couleur choisir?
Noir?
Et puis tant que j'y suis autant l'appliquer à tout le *.png non?
Ca ne ferait plus apparaitre les roues qui sont déjà noirs, et là je pense qu'il donnerait vraiment l'impression de flotter! ;D

So, again and simply:
bulk cargos have to be covered in real world (to avoid losing of materials and also to avoid damaging of cars going behind and around truck) - but you would not see what is transported. Then you could use that speed but ... going with open trailer makes this speed forbidden

Ok now I got it.
So speed is going to be reduced to 120 because I feel it should go faster than the others bulk trailer.

Right now I have a problem.
I'm unable to make the bulk trailer appear in the game.
I changed the *.png and the *.dat.
Any help?

I hope it will not be thought bad: no - mainly if you want to simulate real world - where (and I don't know laws of other countries) these materials have to be covered. Then you could use speed 140 km/h - but when it is open to show what is transported?

I didn't get it.
Anyway after looking to my road law code I found that max speed for trailer is around 130 km so I wil stick with this.

@martin: please find the *.dat file for your bulk goods trailer.
is it ok for you?

Je me suis permis de corriger la version anglaise du menu déroulant:
"avaible" -> "available"
Ca fait mieux quand même... ;D

Salut Aquel!

Deja chapeau pour le iris, il est super bien fait! En plus il est ****ez rapidement rentable!
Seul défaut pour moi, je trouve une vue qui est peut-etre placé un pixel ou deux trop haut. On dirait qu'il roule au milieu de la route.
Pour faire simple je te met un "scrinne chot  ;D" (screenshot hein^^) comme ça tu verras immédiatement de quelle vue je parle.

Je vais tester le scnania!

EDIT : Pour moi le scania est pas mal du tout!

Le prix de revient du véhicule a été augmenté un poil . Je considère plus que c'est un véhicule de luxe qui doit couter plus cher. Vois si c'est bien retranscris!
Je connaissais pas la version francisée du mot "screenshot...  ???
Arf je me coucherais moins bête ce soir! ;D

Il y a eu à ce que je vois pas mal de nouvelles choses concernant les aéroports.

Je n'y comprends plus rien ... peut-on m'expliquer ?

Le seul truc que j'ai a peu près compris.
L'outil "modern_runway_extMrkLgt: juste après celui du "Modern runway" ça sert de flèche de direction sur le tarmac.
En gros ça permet d'avoir une piste d'atterissage et de décollage.
Les lumières servent de balise et permette d'augmenter la capacité de p****ager ou de goods mais je sais pas trop comment on s'en sert!

To draw I use the GIMP. I've tried BLENDER but I find that old school pixel pushing delivers better looking trucks and trailers. Besides that I use SHADES to check images on special color pixels.

-> Can I use this trailer with one of my vehicle & if needed modify the trailer.dat?
for personal use: be my guest. If you're going to post modified versions give me some credits :)


Ok Then I'll make the *.dat file with your credit for the trailer. DO you think it is wise to put a trailer with speed 140? Especially for a bulk truck?

Merci d'avoir updater pour les pentes souterraines. j'ai du mal mais au moins c'est un peu plus clair! ;D

Juste une précision dans le nouveau pak 128 il y a plus de choses pour guider les avions.
En fait il n'y a plus de ligne mais des rangées de lumières qui doivent correspondre à des balises ;D
J'ai la dernière version (enfin je crois) tu as quelle version toi?

Pense à l'updater sinon je peux le faire.

Uhm, I didn't know about other's TGVs, despite I guessed there should be some hidden somewhere in the language or old forums :)
About the tile in blender, I never use it. I just render the vehicle and resize it until it gets the needed size for pak128 (about 46x17x12 pixels for a train, f.i.). Anyway I can look in my templates later on and see if I can find something.

Sorry didn't ask my questions properly... ;D
Can you say what angle should be the camera and the light in order to render a simutrans vehicle.

In short if I want to draw an object (let's say the eifel tower as an example ;)) using blender.
What is the correct value of the camera (angle and height) and light value to get a good render?

Hope I was more correct this time. ;D

Just why is it becoming green in the screenshot and blue in the render view?

Could you please say how you can make a tile for simutrans with Blender?
I would like to know so I can make addons using that tile.
