Whenever I start up SimuTrans, I get the following message:
FATAL ERROR: hausbauer_t::register_Besch()
building bakery duplicated
PRESS ANY KEY

Can anyone help me? I really want to play this game.

Please state version and pak in a bug report.

The error is that you have two objects in your pak directory that have a name "bakery".

In your case it's most likely that you have installed two paks in one directory, or that in one way or another you have messed up your pak directory. I would suggest to rename the current pak directory and re-download and/or re-install the pak you are using. If all that fails you could try to remove a file that has a name "bakery" in it, but chances are that you get another error message or get the wrong bakery.

Sorry about that, it's whatever the latest stable version is on the downloads page is, and Pak 128. I'll try reinstalling the Pak.

Did you just copy new files over old ones? That was in the past #1 reason for this error.

Or, did you install any addons? If you accidentally mixed 64 addon into 128 it could happen, too. Fortunately no addon maker is stupid enough to make object with same name as something in the set he is writing for... which also means this case has probability like 0.01%

If you can get us a complete list of all *.pak files in the pak128 folder, it could help a lot. Or at least these with "factory" or "bakery" in file name.

I no longer get the error, but now I get a new error:

FATAL ERROR: alles_geladen()
12skin_besch_t-object Builder not found.
*** PLEASE INSTALL PROPER BASE FILE AND CHECK PATH ***
PRESS ANY KEY

The download links from that website, which is supposed to be the official SF project site, point to 99.17..we should change that but I think we must wait until Igor releases the new site (soon, I hope)

I'm getting this same error with the Hand Drawn pak. Lastest versions of both. Any help?

As far as I know, Hand Drawn pakset project is halted since long time ago. I hesitate if it's compatible with the latest releases of Simutrans. I would say it's not playable, but I can confirm it
