Hi. This is not a real bug, it is just change request. I like new line window with waiting times, I like that remove goes back to Add stop after deleting one item, but I dont like, that the replicate button is close to remove button. Sometimes I do a missclick and instead of deleting an item I create a bunch of new ones. And then I must patientaly delete them one after one and be carefull for what I delete (and care not to do another missclick).
Thank you for reading this.
Peronally I could do without the replicate button at all, since it has no constructive meaning as all as discussed in another older thread. But people requested it ...
the replicate button is sometimes quite useful... but I, too, have the same problem with trying to delete stuff...
I find the replicate button useful, as it can often save time on non-circular lines.
specially with busses. unfortunately is pretty useless on two traks railways :(
It is, as in the other thread showed, also useless for busses. You better let them retrun directly from the end to the start and vice versa. But I gave up on this long ago.
Why would it be better always to let busses run in a circular pattern? And what about single track railways? And aircraft? And ships?
Few of my lines are circular. I would find more useful if the "replicate backwards" were a checkbox, though. Updating a go and back line would be easier than now.
(Same here. The recent change in revenue calculation for detours (if switched on) makes the approach of circular schedules (even with linear sequence of stops) much less profitable.)
For this, a separate instance of the schedule would be needed for editing. This method could also be used to discard changes (cancel-button instead of auto-save+activate on close).
And there's still the other idea of just reversing the existing schedule, e.g. to create a circular line as complement to an existing one.
