Title: Line management: Minimum load setting
Post by: micslu on March 12, 2009, 06:45:33 pm
I've finally ditched version 99x game and just starting anew with ver 102 nightlies (now today's r2381 + P128 v535).

In v99x (at least), the Minimum load setting in Line Management window had toggle steps of every 10%, 0-1-10-20 ... 80-90-100%, if I remember correctly.
But now with v102 (I skipped in between), the pre-****igned settings are only for 0-1-5-10-20-50-100%. I use 90% load often, as this seems to give enough profits and get some material to next factory/stores, so I was disappointed!

But I found you can type in any number directly (8 or 33 or 67 or 90 whatever) and that number is shown on the vehicle schedule.
My question: Are these arbitrary numbers valid? If I put Minimum load to 67%, does my vehicle with 100 unit capacity depart after loading 67 units?
Or are only the pre-****igned numbers valid?

I should experiment but I just started a new map with the new version and there are no suitable factories/stations to check this yet.
BTW 102 world is wonderful, especially the rivers! Thanks.

I think you can use every number. And for this will the vehicle wait.

If you have no factories test it with a bus.

In all those boxes any number not in red is considered valid.

I think that you can always edit the exact numbers in the boxes by clicking on them as if they were a text box, and typing in the number with a keyboard, rather than using the arrows.

Thanks.
Now I can really micromanage with 43% or 87%  :D
