Title: Changing menu graphics and settings
Post by: The Hood on March 14, 2009, 04:02:37 pm
I want to alter the menu images and some of the functions (e.g. remove some waytypes and make provision for some new ones) for pak128.Britain.  Unfortunately I can't make much sense of the menuconf.tab, or the pak64 sources for the menu.  How do I define the main tool bar at the top, and how do I define what comes up in all of the submenus?

This rules are all in the menuconf.tab

The menu-system is not easy, but you can make a lot of thinks. Learning by doing is the best.

It is hard to start thinking in terms of that monster. Only once you overcome that barrier, you can really do something.

OK thanks - as long as I'm not being stupid!

@VS: seeing as I'm developing pak128.Britain by starting with pak128 and slowly replacing things, would it be possible to have all the sources for the GUI paks that you use in pak128?  I could use the pak64 ones of SVN but I'm not used to using pak64 so it would be easier for me if I can modify the pak128 ones.
