In the past I subscribed to the feed of the Downloads subforum.
But after the forum change you only can subscribe to the whole forum, and not only to posts in (the download) subforum.
Please fix this

In fact, it was an installed modification to the forum. For various reasons, I will not be installing any mods -- or at least, nearly no mods.
The reasoning is simply that all the fun and useful mods I installed also made it where we could no longer backup and restore the forum.
Therefore, I'm sorry to advise you that this will not be reinstated.
Is there any way to use an external tool to collect the news and then create a feeds channel? i.e. A tool like FeedBurner (http://www.feedburner.com/fb/a/home)
