You can do one of two things. Go to the board "Download Simutrans" and then download the Basic PAK Files, The Waste Chain and Food PAK Files.Then download the .EXE files for your particular system.

binaries
Windows native (new) (needs unicows.dll on Win9x) [ MIRROR ]
Window with SDL (new) [ MIRROR ]
Linux with SDL and SDL_mixer (new) (if lagging, start with "simutrans -nomidi")
BeOS with Allegro (new)
PowerMac with SDL (new) (needs SDL framework)

Basis Pak64
pak64 Basis (new) [ MIRROR ]
pak64 food chain
pak64 waste chain

or you can download them from http:/www.wernieman.de/simutrans.index.en.html

If you are new to the game I do not reccomend the second alternative
