Title: Don't read simuconf.tab
Post by: irontux on August 18, 2009, 01:50:46 pm
I use the latest nightly build (8 august 2009), but it's the same with the latest stable version.
When I play the game, ignore configuration in the file simuconf.tab
I change some option (starting_year and bits_per_month for the example), but this change don't have any effect.
I use linux version: Linux/gcc 4.1.6

There are several simuconf.tab: In your program directory, in the pak directory and in (~/simutrans). The last simuconf.tab, which is read is the one in the pak directory. You have to alter the variables there.

The simuconf.tab in the user data has most precedence for nearly everything.
