Title: Station coverage area could not be changed
Post by: A222 on August 31, 2009, 05:21:29 pm
I've changed the number of station coverage area in simuconf.tab from 2 to 4......
In the game, however, it persists to be showing 2 only......
How can I change the coverage area? or just ignore the square shown in the game?

Thanks~

Sadly, that setting only effects new games.

it is intended. if you download a saved game with a different coverage, you could mess it up if you don't use the same coverage. thus, coverage settings are saved within the game.
Think of it also like this: you can play in the same day/week more games with different coverage! :)

I finally know why I have so many problems with the game...
I just realize there are 2 simuconf.tab: one in pak128, one in the executable pack

This is intended in general, to override (parameter-by-parameter) ST defaults by pak-set ones, which you can override again with the third simuconf.tab, your own one under <Personal Documents> (or whatever the name is in your Windows version+language).
