When is the latest stable of simutrans going to be released - I heard it's meant to be tomorrow, but just want to check.
Also - friend of mine told me that with pak128 under roads there is a little arrow that allows him to make elevated roads etc. - I haven't been able to replicate this, anyone got any info about this?
Thanks,
As far as I know, I'll have to wait at least four days more, until October 18th. About the elevated road tool, I don't know anything but I suspect it's not a pakset feature but your friend is probably using a nightly version.
There is an extension that allows you to build elevated roads. It is a pak set and should work since 99.x or so. (Albeit there have been some restrictions only fixed recently, thus a nightly may allow building in more places.)

In some latest Nightly Builds, not all existing Help Texts were included in the build. For instance, several Portuguese help texts were not included in the nightly builds. I looked in Simutranslator to figure out what is going on..., and they are there.
Please, make sure this will not happen in the stable release. For kindness. ;D
I added/modified some Japanese help texts.
I hope them to be included in next stable, too.
SInce I usually build them manually, to make sure everything is on board (what of course takes lot of time) I will pay attention to that too.
Do you have a link for this - is it a patch or an add-on?
Elevated ways (of all kinds - except airports and maybe canals) can be easily created as addons for all paksets. There's just one line in the dat that needs to be changed - and of course some graphics to be painted (normal graphics would look odd). For pak 64 and 128 you should be able to find elevated ways here (http://japanese.simutrans.com/index.php?Site_Map).
The latest nightly has incremented to 102.2.
Actually that already happened in r2777.
But we have a new 102.2 release version now.
