Title: [patch] Build tunnels without way on slope
Post by: gerw on November 05, 2009, 10:27:29 am
With this patch you are able to build a tunnel without building a way on the slope first. The tunnel will also auto-connect to ways laying in front of it.

tu-chemnitz.de/~gerw/patches/tunnel_without_way_2848.patch (http://tu-chemnitz.de/~gerw/patches/tunnel_without_way_2848.patch)

If this patch comes into trunk, the translations of the error messages has to be adopted.

2 crash reports as usual.

[edit]
The tunnel will also auto-connect to ways laying in front of it.

Doesn't it check the owner of railway ?

We also must re-write all the "How to build a tunnel" tutorials. But I support this patch, it will help beginners a lot, particularly those who played TT(D) before. Thank you for making this :)

I love all the little tweaks like this. Especially one like this - I can't think of a downside (although perhaps it's just my limited thinking)
