Title: Underground View
Post by: OrientTom on February 11, 2010, 02:10:21 pm
Hi.  I am trying to build an underground network and i was wondering if it is possible to build underground while seeing everything on ground above because I cannot see where i am building stations etc?  Thanks  ;)

Sorry if this has been posted before elsewhere but I couldnt find it.

Best to use the sliced underground mode. How to access that depends on which pakset that you are using, as the keys are customised by pakset. PGUP and PGDN are common keys to use it, however.

It isn't possible at present, but sliced mode will make it as easy as possible.

The other trick is to hover over the station you want to match, note the coordinates (bottom-right corner of the window) and match that way when you're underground.

you can also display station coverage in sliced underground mode to get an indication, where the overground station is. (press 'v' should do this)
