Title: Forum "unread posts"
Post by: smu42 on July 26, 2010, 05:24:10 pm
I frequently use the link "show unread posts since last visit", which is quite helpful.
Is there away to show unread posts from specific boards?
I really don't care for most of the language boards, because I can't read it anyway.
I've tried the search function where I can select boards, but it doesn't seem to be capable of doing what I want.

Click on this icon (http://forum.simutrans.com/Themes/default/images/on.gif) in forum/board index. :)

I had the same issue - and in fact, it's slightly worse for me (not that I'm complaining) because as a forum administrator, I cannot hide any board from myself... heh.

Unfortunately, there's not a good solution at this time.

Hmm..
url ref for 'Simutrans Experimental branch' new posts button is

http://forum.simutrans.com/index.php?action=unread;board=53.0

now change it to

http://forum.simutrans.com/index.php?action=.xml;type=rss2;limit=20;board=53.0

and add to any rss aggregator.

Many thanks for inkelyad - I had no clue about this, and it's brilliant. :D
