Title: Multiplayer in Nightly builds?
Post by: caspercom on July 31, 2010, 11:38:44 am
Just something I heard about a while ago, is that multiplayer support is built into simutrans in one of the latest nightly builds :D. Wanting to try it out, I have 2 questions. The first is "From what build on is multiplayer supported?" and the second is "From the supporting builds, wich one is stable? (preferably the latest stable release)" I have this question because I know nightly builds can, because of Alpha code, not work properly or corrupt my savefiles. Any help would be much appreciated (Me wants multiplayer ;D)

Multiplayer is since a lot of versions included (before 102.2.2 was released).
Multiplayer is realy anstable. The game crashes at the last test often. And saved corrupted saves.

But if you want to use multiplayer you should compile simutrans by your own because you should increment the save game version.
