I think it is too big.
current 6.4Cr/km give us 9.6Cr for cheapest 3-tile bridge. It is same as 384(96km) tiles dirt road.
Because of it initial road generation newer build any bridge And prefer to route around river.
Hmm - what price do you suggest?
In my systematical approach a wooden bridge of 10 ton capacity costs 760 Cr/tile in 1750. Woodprice in 1750 = 1 Cr/ton
Maintenance 10%/year (high because wood) >> 6 Cr/month/tile (at 18-bits/month)
This is IMHO a lot but:
- 10 tons cap is a lot for a wooden bridge
- It is also more then a lot in 1750
- W.r.t. maintenance wood (in and at water) is not a very appropriate material
A 10t stone bridge cost 1580 Cr but has 3 Cr maint.
I am still thinking of a method that makes it necessary to replace a wooden bridge after ~ 50 years due to maintenance-cost (age-dependent)

We are talking about cheapest wooden bridge for initial road network. 3t capacity.
Alternative -- make waterway/road crossing. Like pak128 have.
In my system:
In 1750 Cost 420 Cr maint 4 Cr/m

AvG, can you share your version of pak128.Britain-Exp?
Even better, make fork for it on github?
I tried to use:
http://github.com/AvG/simutrans-Experimental-DRC
Have no idea how to handle this.
I lost my p****word booklet when moving. Tried the forgotten procedure, but do NOT understand the answer.
Github instructions are difficult for non-IT-educated people.
I you could help me here I would be very gratefull.
I will upload the bridge pak-file as an attachment.
