I just downloaded the latest nightly (b2070), without pak. This is loading VERY fine my game started with the version 1.0 official. Only some maybe just optical problems found so far:

- the player "human" is shown as "player -1"
- the options menu stays in German disregard of choosen language

Is this a pak problem? How big is the risk to destroy the game by replacing the pak?

You can take the nightly from oct 5th, which is still complete and only use the newer exe.

Or test with the newest nightly. By now it should work ...
