Hi All.
I have build a new chat for Simutrans. This is only a free site without a guarantee for accessibility. But it works only with flash. Give a name and send it. And chat with other about Simutrans.
The chat link is at the top right. The page is partly in english and german.
http://simutrans.carookee.de/
I will see on it, when I have time. Hope you have a look too.
Nice! But how big is the chance to see someone else inside ?
I'm on-line there right now.
EDIT:
I'm not more.
Anyway, I'd like to say that a chat would be useful to save the forum from long discussions where members ask for a support.
Yesterday evening we was 8 people. Prissi, Dirk, MHz, Alexander Brose, VS, gauthier, The Transporter, ...
Sojo, let me point something out:
What is that "Simutrans pak96.comic" for? Is it just to run the chat?
Plus... I'm on-line again. ;D
EDIT: "Less"... I'm not on-line more. :(
It's only the name of this site. I'm not the maintainer for Simutrans, I'm the maintainer for pak96.comic and so I have choose this name. Should I use a other name?
The question was - why also forum, if only chat is needed?
This chat is only a tool from this forum. The Forum is the mainpart of this service. But I don't need it this time.
Huh?! My English is too bad so that it's not understandable? :(
( ;D )
I think already exist an irc channel in quakenet about Simutrans, but I don't know if is still active...

I've also found this about a hidden chat in the German forum thanks to Benjad, which I guess is the same mentioned in the previous link...

IMHO, wouldn't be a bad idea to create an IRC channel, although since the instant messenger exists is a bit outdated. It's another way to give help support, sometimes faster than the forum.
If you have a FireFox with ChatZilla (https://addons.mozilla.org/pt-BR/firefox/addon/16), you can comfortably connect to #Simutrans IRC without any other chat program installed in your computer. ;D
The quakenet channel still exists and is busy... with five people just sitting there and waiting for something to happen, one of them being me since today morning :)
