I have recently been experimenting with 100.0, but seem to be getting random crash-to-desktop problems within a few minutes of creating a new map. The problem seems to occur in both Pak128 (1.4.3-pre) and Pak64, although it seems to occur more frequently in Pak128 (it always seems to crash within about two minutes in Pak128: in Pak64, sometimes it crashes within 30-60 seconds, sometimes it doesn't seem to crash at all). I cannot see anything particularly in the debugging output ("-log 1 -debug 3") that would seem to suggest what the source of the problem is.
Have you testet it with the nighlys??
please ....
Hmm, oddly, I'm running it again, and not getting any crashes! I'll leave it running overnight to see whether it crashes then.
With the nightlys?
No, 100.0, the one that I had the crashes on in the first place. All very odd. And I'm running it with Pak 128 alpha.
100.0 has several (known) problems - and is already quite outdated concerning programming and bugs and such. After all, 100.0 was r1867 - prissi has reached r2153 by now! So there were about 286 changes made - many of these solving existing problems, others adding new features...
So, as you can imagine, reporting bugs for 100.0 isn't exactly taking us ahead any more. Please check the latest nightly instead - and if you encounter a bug there, please report that!
Nightly version isn't a 100.0 version running all night ;)
