Difficulty deleting Maglev tracks January 10, 2009, 02:53:01 pm The maglev tracks removing tool does not work. It's not doing what it's supposed to do. I mean the normal remove works, but the maglev remove tool, everytime I use it on the map, it just displays a graphic big red X appears, without deleting the maglev tracks, even the elevated ones. I can use the normal removal tool, but it's bit not so usefull when you've got a factory (grain mill) right underneath the elevated maglev tracks (monorail support). Could someone please help... Re: Difficulty deleting Maglev tracks Reply #1 – January 10, 2009, 05:36:35 pm Maybe the entry in menuconf.tab is wrong (or you mix up maglev and monorail tools?).Anyway, once again the excact version number of the pakset (and ST), that you encountered these problems with, is needed again. Re: Difficulty deleting Maglev tracks Reply #2 – January 10, 2009, 07:26:57 pm No I did not mix up maglev with monorail tools. The same remove tool from both the maglev and monorail tools doesn't remove any maglev and/or monorail tracks. Its happened to me since I started with version 99.17 pak64 and pak128 from the time 99.17 pak64 appeared with its own pak64 add-ons. Right now I'm using version 100.1 r2184 nightly pak128.306, if I remember right. Thanks again... Quote Selected
Re: Difficulty deleting Maglev tracks Reply #3 – January 10, 2009, 09:53:31 pm Oh wait... I think you're using that tool wrong (it works a little different than the normal remove tool). For all the track-specific remove tools, you need to click on two points - and the route in between gets deleted. And when you have only clicked on the first spot yet, it shows only the red X there, not deleting anything yet - that requires a second click somewhere else (but connected).Could you make sure whether this is your problem (if it is, it should happen to you on all waytypes, not just maglev and monorail, BTW).Also back to your first post:When there's a factory underneath your elevated tracks (of whatever kind) the normal remove tool should not be able to remove that (unless you have switched over to public player) or can you really delete the factory (that would be either a new feature or a bug)? And second if you use "CTRL+Click" instead of just "click" you select the "upper" level, so you can deliberately aim for either bottom (factory) or elevated (tracks). Quote Selected

But I just found another bug... When I try to delete a single station tile (either on elevated, ground and/or underground), it deletes the whole 12 station tile long station, instead of deleting just one station tile (except if any of the those tiles, that don't delete with the whole station, are adjacent of any other tile of another station exactly near).Quote from: DirrrtyDirk – on January 10, 2009, 09:53:31 pmAlso back to your first post:When there's a factory underneath your elevated tracks (of whatever kind) the normal remove tool should not be able to remove that (unless you have switched over to public player) or can you really delete the factory (that would be either a new feature or a bug)?
