Dutch train set

Hey guys im quite impressed with the style and progress of the .96 pack, but it lacked dutch vehicles, so im starting it up with the first:

A NS-1600 locomotive:

Not that this is still in photoshop, im going to try and get it in .96 right now.

Wow! I like it!

You could add some more details, though. Carry on. :)

Cheers, it still needs ventilation on top, and 2 pantographs. Also, one drove around in a fancy red colour for raillion(german transporter). :)

Added 2 panthographs, lights, just so people know where the loc is going :D and ventilation on the roof and front cab. :)

It should become a set for the dutchies among us(and those looking for more :D).

I only got this view though, so this one isnt done yet. Needs more time.

Is anyone working on those overhead powerlines? If not i could give it a try, any template i could use or guidlines i need to follow?

I think the yellow/blue graphics of NS are perfect for this Pak!
Especially those cute Dog-nose p****enger trains.

aah yes the famous old mat 54 trains(material 1954). Shame they dont drive anymore, and there replacements, the mat 64 are also about to disappear in 5 years. Fortunately there is a museum that always gets the old locomotives and keeps them in driving condition if possible. I went there this summer and i must say its fantastic to see all of the oldtimers still in there fullest glory.

Indeed, the sharp-contrast blue/yellow are perfect for this pak ^_^

I got it to compile and work in PAK 96. I think the locomotive is still a bit too big, but il try and remove the wheels first so that it will sit a notch lower. That should atleast improve the visuals a bit.

EDIT: Ok, this definitely improved the view, along with modifiying the vehicles length. Although it might look bulky next to standard vehicles.

Its done ;D

Its just a beta version, price/performance wise, and the graphics probably also need some tweaking. I could use some feedback/help with that.

D a m n, i can't test it at work (right now) and on my girlfriends computer (today and weekend). I'll do on sunday evening.

Actually there's nobody working on overheadlines. It's still on team to-do list. If i can help you, i could give you the source graphics from the tram overheadlines.
And: I think, we need two-sided overheadlines. :D

Sure, sounds like a plan!

Well, here's the source.  :D

Please note that these powerlines were fitted for diagonal roads. The powerlines for the big railway needs "real" diagonal powerlines. I hope you unterstand what i mean. My english isn't the best.  ::)

I'm curious about the next vehicles!

Cheers :).

My next vehicle for the set will be a ICM carriage. There usually towed by a 1600/1800 series or a koploper.

It indeed is rather big, I think i should try and redraw it a notch smaller.
