Higher use of existing buildings

I do not write or understand computer code but I have the highest praise for all of you that do and have created this wonderful game. Within the paks you have given us a vast array of buildings,  small grocery stores, clothing stores, pubs, farmers markets, etc. These are all very nice eyecandy for inner city development but why not put them to work? Most of these buildings could be added to the end of current existing industries and give the game player more options for city development as well as a transportation challenge. Example, the food industry chain is geared for a large supermarket but at the end of the chain the corner pub needs beer and the 7-11 neighborhood store needs canned food and the local fish market needs fish.  Can an easy computer code be added to game to allow each player to ****ociate these game buildings to current industries? The possibilities seem endless.
Thank you for your time. ::)

Something similar is planned for the forthcoming Pak128.Britain :-)

Actually the industries are already in the last release of Pak128.Britain.  It's easily do-able in the current set-up: pak developers need to code up the graphics as industries rather than (or as well as) citybuildings.  In Pak128.Britain the industry versions have coloured canopies to identify them.

Will this application be carried to Pak128 and will it include current buildings? Can a small code be written to be applied to the wonderful selection of city buildings we have?
