Pathfinding issue

Dear James,

I just tested your latest linux build. I started a new game and it is quite challenging ;)

Maybe there is a bug in the pathfinding code(or somewhere else?). Two "RT-Type (diesel)" buses (Vehicle 1 and 5) get stuck some seconds after loading the attached game. Vehicle 2 (in the center of the screen after loading) got stuck immediately before saving this savegame, but is no longer stuck after loading.

savegame: http://simutrans-germany.com/files/upload/exp7.1_buses_stuck.sve

I used the latest nightly linux build simutrans-exp-2010-01-28-6c9a8b9 with Pak128.Britain-Ex 0.4 installed in a normal directory tree of simuwin-102-2-1.zip.

Thanks for the experimental branch!
Toni

Mod: Topic split from the general release topic. I should be grateful if people could post bug reports in their own thread.

Miar,

thank you for your report. Unfortunately, I cannot open your saved game because you have combined two different paksets (Pak128 and Pak128.Britain, and possibly others), and I do not have an equivalent pakset.

However, this issue is often caused by weight limits. Check to see whether your 'buses are too heavy for any of the road over which they are routed to p****. The Pak128 vehicles are not balanced to work with weight limits, and, using the Pak128.Britain-Ex configuration files means that you have turned enforcement of weight limits up to the strictest setting, which will cause the vehicles not to route if they are too heavy, rather than to go more slowly and show a "too heavy" message.

Thank you again for posting, and enjoy playing Simutrans-Experimental!
