Nightly 868 - New ship not found

Hi

The site tracking the svn recently reported that some ships had been added to pak128 (I refer to this thread http://forum.simutrans.com/index.php?topic=4307.0). I downloaded the latest nightly (the 868) but I have not found within the new vessels ... I missed something? Should I look elsewhere?

I also tried with version openpak128 but the result was the same ....

You didn't miss anything. These new ships are not included in paksets neither nightlies. They have not been released yet, and they won't until a number of them are finished (maybe in a couple or three weeks I may have some more). It will be anounced in that same thread that you pointed.

I made confusing reading the reports of svn ( http://svnlogs.simutrans.com/pak128.html ) I thought that the boats were released with version 861. How can I tell when an object is released in pak?

For releasing a vehicle in the pak it must be uploaded to the /vehicles/ folder. The /material/ folder (where the ships are) is a folder for temporary storage purpose, and it's not included into the pak compilation. So you may seek only for items added to the /vehicles/ folder (same for buildings, factories and all other types of objects). Anyway I will ask for a folder rename or an additional service to store temp stuff, just to avoid this kind of missunderstandings.
