Choose destination sign and bus stop April 05, 2010, 05:53:18 pm I am using pak 128 102.0(r2366)I have a bus stop here and the choose destination sign is the default oneSometimes the bus will choose a bus stop that is on the “rear side”, just like what in the pic (all bus were stopped), and it cause all bus jammed (as the I set month wait time and the % of p****enger loaded for all bus stopping at that station). How to solve the problem so that no more bus will stop at the rear side bus stop? There are no bus stopped at the "front side" stop at that momentSorry for my poor English. Re: Choose destination sign and bus stop Reply #4 – April 05, 2010, 09:46:08 pm Quotesorry for poor presentationDon't be sorry, you at least provided a picture, which tells more than words can do!I see now what you mean. Two possible solutions, one will work certainly, the other I'm not sure of.1) (works for sure) Reduce your station to one row, e.g. don't use three tiles in a row. The bus that is waiting wants to go to a station behind the waiting bus in the station. That bus is effectively blocking the route. This works for sure!2) (might work) Use the latest stable version 102.2.2. I think this behaviour might have changed since 102.0 and works correctly now.I would go for solution 2 if I were you, because it leaves your current station intact. The busses behind the choose signal initially still might block in version 102.2.2, but if you lead the blocking bus(ses) away the situation will clear up.By the way, the northernmost part of your station (the one with parking places) might cause trouble too. A bus that chooses to go to there, might get stuck as well. I don't know if the placing of one-way signals in both directions is enough to stop it from choosing. Quote Selected
Re: Choose destination sign and bus stop Reply #5 – April 05, 2010, 09:48:11 pm There is nothing wrong in choosing the nearest stop, when a stop is occupied. This is the standard behaviour and will favour the second tile of a stop if the first is occupied. Do not do second tiles, if this is not what you want to do. Quote Selected
Re: Choose destination sign and bus stop Reply #6 – April 06, 2010, 10:38:15 am But there are no bus occupying any stops at the first tile at that momentSo this mean the bus may choose any stops, including the second tile one, when it arrive choose destination sign, even if none of the stops are being occupied?I built the second row of stops only for incresing the storage capacity of the stationIs there any other way to increse the storage capacity of the station? As I dont see any add-on of stop that have a higher storage capacity for pak 128mod note: please do not double-post.
