Time in forum October 27, 2008, 12:11:44 pm The time shown in the forum is 1h later than mine...What time is it in internet? Maybe we spanish the only in the world who change the time twice a year... Btw, the server might have forgotten it... Well, actually it happens to me every year Quote Selected
Re: Time in forum Reply #1 – October 27, 2008, 12:16:43 pm In Europe almost everyone changes time twice per year. The easiest way how to make your time similiar to the time of Simutrans forum is to use "auto detect" of time in your profile. I do it every 6 months Quote Selected
Re: Time in forum Reply #2 – October 27, 2008, 12:32:06 pm Uh... Anyone knows which time has the server? GMT? GMT+1? I had in profile a +1 offset, so I gess server time is GMT... Anyway, I'll tell the profile to auto-detect time twice a year... I think that won't be too hard for me Quote Selected
Re: Time in forum Reply #3 – October 28, 2008, 02:39:01 am In the US we changed the date when we change our time. As a result, for a few weeks we are one hour off of Europe. Quote Selected
Re: Time in forum Reply #4 – October 28, 2008, 10:30:16 am I think the server runs on CET (UTC+1) but it does not do the change to CEST and back. So during summer we probably have to change our forum time manually in our profiles to daylight saving time (= CEST in most of Europe). Quote Selected
