Vehicles removed in recent Pak64 revisions (post-100.0) September 03, 2008, 08:43:11 pm With using an older savegame in recents builds of both ST+Pak64, I have noticed that in Pak64 rev91, several vehicles are substituted improperly (e.g. Garrat, Cargosprinter, BR234 etc., all of them not mentioned in compat.tab, see also Compat.tab for very old games), and a diff shows me that quite a few vehicles have been removed since 100.0.The Garrat and other objects for example are from Raven, so if he hasn't approved the new license for his creations yet, it's possible to ask him now, I think. My conclusion: the recent Pak64 isn't so suitable to continue older games with trains. The diff:.\vehicle.0ben103.pak only in .\100.0-release\simutrans\pak.\vehicle.1ben140.pak only in .\100.0-release\simutrans\pak.\vehicle.1dampflokomotive.pak only in .\100.0-release\simutrans\pak.\vehicle.1diesellokomotive.pak only in .\100.0-release\simutrans\pak.\vehicle.1ellok.pak only in .\100.0-release\simutrans\pak.\vehicle.1garrat.pak only in .\100.0-release\simutrans\pak.\vehicle.1tpellok.pak only in .\100.0-release\simutrans\pak.\vehicle.2ben155.pak only in .\100.0-release\simutrans\pak.\vehicle.2diesellokomotive.pak only in .\100.0-release\simutrans\pak.\vehicle.2garrat.pak only in .\100.0-release\simutrans\pak.\vehicle.3ben185.pak only in .\100.0-release\simutrans\pak.\vehicle.3diesellokomotive.pak only in .\100.0-release\simutrans\pak.\vehicle.3garrat.pak only in .\100.0-release\simutrans\pak.\vehicle.br234.pak only in .\100.0-release\simutrans\pak.\vehicle.cargosprinter-front.pak only in .\100.0-release\simutrans\pak.\vehicle.cargosprinter-mittel.pak only in .\100.0-release\simutrans\pak.\vehicle.cargosprinter-steuer.pak only in .\100.0-release\simutrans\pak.\vehicle.ed17.pak only in .\100.0-release\simutrans\pak.\vehicle.f7back.pak only in .\100.0-release\simutrans\pak.\vehicle.sd40-2-back.pak only in .\100.0-release\simutrans\pak.\vehicle.sd40-2-front.pak only in .\100.0-release\simutrans\pak.\text\ce.tab only in .\100.0-release\simutrans\pak.\building.10_wohn.pak only in .\100.0-nightly\simutrans\pak64r91.\building.res_01_17.pak only in .\100.0-nightly\simutrans\pak64r91.\vehicle.bb200.pak only in .\100.0-nightly\simutrans\pak64r91.\vehicle.cc7100.pak only in .\100.0-nightly\simutrans\pak64r91.\vehicle.cl****86.pak only in .\100.0-nightly\simutrans\pak64r91.\vehicle.doubledecker.pak only in .\100.0-nightly\simutrans\pak64r91.\vehicle.grossraumwagen.pak only in .\100.0-nightly\simutrans\pak64r91.\vehicle.ns1000.pak only in .\100.0-nightly\simutrans\pak64r91.\vehicle.ns1600.pak only in .\100.0-nightly\simutrans\pak64r91.\text\hr.tab only in .\100.0-nightly\simutrans\pak64r91 Quote Selected
Re: Vehicles removed in recent Pak64 revisions (post-100.0) Reply #1 – September 03, 2008, 09:23:54 pm These should are there, at least in the inputfiles. Probably some problems with the autogeneration. Building them by hand has them all ... CHECKED: revision 88 was cahnging engines.dat into a pak file for unknown reason.Only the ED17 I took out since it did neither match the graphics style nor was it useful in any way for its costs. The ce.tab should also not be included in the release I think, but its lacking in the nightly has more to do with the current state of the simutranslator. EDIT: problem solved in Pak64 rev.93. Quote Selected Last Edit: September 04, 2008, 01:48:20 pm by whoami
