Upgrading from 100.0 to 102 on Ubuntu Linux July 27, 2009, 10:21:07 am HiI recently tried upgrading from version 100 which worked perfectly to version 102. I downloaded the executable and the pak file for 102, I extracted them into the same folder. When I went to run simutrans I got the following error../simutrans: command not foundI do still have the earlier version installed on the computer so I was wondering if that was interfering with the upgrade.Regards,John Curwood Quote Selected

Re: Upgrading from 100.0 to 102 on Ubuntu Linux Reply #2 – July 27, 2009, 10:33:10 am This is probably due to the executable not being marked as executable. Easiest way to check and correct is to right click simutrans and select properties / permissions There should be a tick in the box near the bottom, allow this file to run as a program. By default files are not usually imported as runnable for security reasons.Hope this helps. Quote Selected
Re: Upgrading from 100.0 to 102 on Ubuntu Linux Reply #3 – July 27, 2009, 10:39:33 am I thought the problem might be there too, but as I usually use the console to run Simutrans on Linux, I didn't realize about it. Thanks for the info, weedfreak. Quote Selected
