Trucks, trailers and timeline trouble

Hi

I have been playing Simutrans for a while and have reached the 1960s in one of my games. In 1961 two new road vehicles for bulk transport became available, a truck and a trailer, which would be suitable replacements for some of my convoys that are becoming obsolete. There is however one catch: the two vehicles do not fit together! The source for pak64 reveals that the Sandtransporter, available 1961 to 2007, pairs up only with the Sandanhaenger, available from 1978 until the end of the world. While the Stoneanhaenger, available from 1961 to 1997, can only be combined with the Stonetransporter, available from 1974.

Has there been some mix-up in the dates here? The current situation certainly does not make sense to me. There is no point in having a trailer that no truck can pull yet.
