I don't know this is intende or not.
But when I start a new game, pause mode is always ON.

I thought it was intended since it's been like that for weeks (I think)...

UNfourtunately it is not always the case. This is a bug.

I've also noticed that new games start in "June, Winter XXXX" with pause on. When pause is removed, this reverts to "June, Summer XXXX". Old behaviour was "January, Winter XXXX". I ****ume these bugs are related?

I observed this with both pak64 and pak128.Britain on r2864.

Is this also fixed? (I notice this has moved to solved board, but obviously a new nightly hasn't been compiled yet).

It should be fixed. Also you can start in any month you like (but this must go to simuconf.tab)
