Crash when opening help text

I've translated all french help and it work quite fine exept 3 files:

- new_world.txt (nouveau jeu)

- inspection tool (Loupe)

- schedule.txt (controle d'itinéraire)

when i try to display these help an error message appear and the game close.

the error message is from simutrans:

FATAL ERROR: sim_new_handler()
OUT OF MEMORY
PRESS ANY KEY

And this one from "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library":

This application has requested the runtime to terminate as an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

I'll post all the translated text in  a rar file.

It appear with sim-winsdl_2009-02-24-v102-2329_r2335 and as well in r2272 from 2009-01-30

Help thanks.

As far as I've checked, the sintax seems to be right so may be a matter of file encoding. Could you please give us more details about the actions you do until Simutrans crashes? What text editor did you use?

Thanks for help

I used wordpad for the first text and i find notepad++ version 5.1.4 and 5.2.

I took the english text and i translated them directly in fench. As you can see whith the  text creation date, the wrong text were made with wordpad for some and notepad++ for the others.

Ask or détails if needed

Edit

I've made others files and they works. I don't know what was the error. I post the file, if someone can tell me what's wrong.

It works; but please use lower case for <p> and the like. This is not HTML ...

And please post the finished files so they do not get lost.

[off-topic]
HTML is a part of SGML, not a part of XML.
We can use both upper case and lower case.

Frank

I think the problem is not upper or lower case. I used openoffice 3.01 to spell check and he had html header (easy to remove) and many [RETURN] (and these are a pain to remove manualy, if someone has an idea to remove them automaticly)

I do this only for the 3 corrected text, for the other i proceed as i writed in my last post.

Edit:

Witch encoding must i used (unicode, ansi ...ect).  I've seen the info somewhere but i've forgotten where.

THe return does not matter. And you better use notepad++ or any other plain text editor.

Yes notepad++ is very good but the spellchecker is not very good, or i've not found the good option. I've found notepad++ 3 week ago.

And for the encoding rules (ansi, unicode or other).

For French please use Ansi.
