Re: Crash when opening help text Reply #1 – February 24, 2009, 03:10:18 pm As far as I've checked, the sintax seems to be right so may be a matter of file encoding. Could you please give us more details about the actions you do until Simutrans crashes? What text editor did you use? Quote Selected

Re: Crash when opening help text Reply #6 – February 25, 2009, 08:41:00 am Frank I think the problem is not upper or lower case. I used openoffice 3.01 to spell check and he had html header (easy to remove) and many [RETURN] (and these are a pain to remove manualy, if someone has an idea to remove them automaticly)I do this only for the 3 corrected text, for the other i proceed as i writed in my last post.Edit: Witch encoding must i used (unicode, ansi ...ect). I've seen the info somewhere but i've forgotten where. Quote Selected Last Edit: February 25, 2009, 09:22:35 am by Trukker
Re: Crash when opening help text Reply #7 – February 25, 2009, 09:23:21 am THe return does not matter. And you better use notepad++ or any other plain text editor. Quote Selected
Re: Crash when opening help text Reply #8 – February 25, 2009, 09:39:57 am Yes notepad++ is very good but the spellchecker is not very good, or i've not found the good option. I've found notepad++ 3 week ago.And for the encoding rules (ansi, unicode or other). Quote Selected
