Game won't load pak128 September 17, 2009, 01:50:06 pm Hi everyone...I've been playing simutrans since June (played it then two weeks, tried the experimental version, and ruined it all), and now i tried i fresh install, so i can play it back... pak 64 is working fine, with and without addons, but pak128 is a problem. When i start a new game (320x320), the loading bar stays at the beginning, and the game starts to freeze...Then i tried with a 128x128 map. the bar starts to run, but about halfway, it freezes back. The game version is 102.0 (r2366), and the 128 version is 1.4.5--102.0. I also tried 128.Japan, which also works fine. Back in june, i could run 128 without any problems...i'll try to add a screenshot from the freezing, and one from the game folder...if you guys you can maybe solve this problem with more screenshots or information... feel free to ask, i'll do everything to play 128 again:pgreetz, Jelle(i've got 4 more screesnhots, but i can only post 2 due to file size, is it ok to double post them, ot should i wait for another post, and then post the other shots?) The nightly compilations sometimes have problems and windows nightlies usually need some extra dll files to run. Re: Game won't load pak128 Reply #5 – September 17, 2009, 02:06:50 pm If a nightly build is unstable it usually gets known pretty fast here in the forum. Look out for error reports, and if there are none within a few days, the nightly should be good. Quote Selected
