I think this is caused by the topic, "landscapes". If it was 'urban scenery' you would have very busy ones.

Sorry, but why does the poll close at March 23th?
When I looked it up yesterday for a Blog-Post (german) , it said 22th?!

It started on March 16th, and should be open a week, so 16+7 = 23...

EDIT: seems to be fixed at simutrans-de blog.

Well, we finally have a winner: It's vilvoh with his screenshot "waiting in the middle of nowhere", that got 8 votes (16%)! My congratulations!

Thanks, I didn't expect it..

The results:

Gold Medal: Waiting in the middle of nowhere by vilvoh 8 votes (16%)
Silver Medal: Unbrakeable by AP 6 (12%)
Bronze Medal: shared between Fields 5 (10%) by VS and Zen station 5 (10%) by ger

P.S: The results go straight to the Simutrans Hall of Fame.

In my personal opinion, the mix between mountain, bridges and rivers is definetly a plus...
