What kind of maps? ST save games or height maps for creating new games?

And what will you do? Do you want to publicate it or do you want to use it on your system?

Put the maps into the folder with the name "maps" in the Simutrans folder.

What boxes?

edit: Ah, I get it. You look at the red boxes... These are not important here. But what you can see is where the maps folder is. Alternatively, it can be found in the bottom view, but I don't use that.

If you are using windows you should place the height maps in the directory:

My Documents/Simutrans/maps

On the same directory level you will see the "save" directory with your saved games in it.

The folder is called "maps", not "map".
