Why should I build an HQ and does a one-way allow overtaking?

The title says it all.

Welcome to the forum canadadry!

The answer to your second question is yes.

As for HQs, I seem to recall that it will create a significant amount of p****enger traffic.  I don't know know what else it does (I personally never build them).

I might build one just like we build a tower... to show that we're rich and powerful... Thanks and how do you rate someone? Finally, is there any way to keep the cities from taking over my one way roads?

Sorry, I don't quite understand your first question.  There is not really a player rating in Simutrans.  Either your company is making money or it goes bankrupt.

For your second question, if a city building touches a road, it will eventually cause the city to take ownership of it.  The only way to prevent this is to separate the road from the buildings.  One way to separate things is by using a fence add-on, you can find one for pak128 at the link below.

The other way to separate things, well, is to simply build a road or tracks in parallel.  Note that this is often more expensive, and not so pretty.

I can't download pak 128 for 102.2.2. It says that I don't have Internet... It is the only version that I can't...

Where do I put the add-on? I managed to download mthe add-on so I might get a more complete version based on the 64 pak...

I can't protect my roads! I installed it but it only appears in pak 64 and is looking like a fence but in fact it's a railroad crossing.

Are you building the fence on the road, or next to it?  You need a free tile between the road and the building for fences to work.  Unfortunately, if it is in built up areas, this might mean some expensive bulldozing.

That'sd okay now. I discovered after some research on the forum that railways are working too. And the fences didn't appears graphically n the game-view... Hard to explain. Thanks anyway...

The one I suggested is for pak128, however I am getting the impression you are using pak64.  Can you confirm this?  Then I can refer you to the right fence.
