Berlin 1961 - 'Simutrans-Player, tear down this wall!'

We write June 13, 1961. The Government of East-Berlin built last night a wall around West Berlin to protect its own people. Don't even think about crossing the border by land, sea or air!  Caution they are armed.

Feel free to built up a network in East- or/and West-Berlin. The interconnection of networks, if required, can only mentioned border stations carried. For more informations and your goals  look to the readme files (english and german).

notes: the addon berlin wall isn't complete yet, but it's playable.

Wow... it is a great challenge. I have big problems with earning enough money and not to write red figures. Normally I play pak.german and it was my first map with pak128. I tried to use ships to transport goods, coal or iron ore... because I didn't want to destroy the city. But it seems that the ships are not well balanced... it is not possible for me to earn money... after 5 years I'm below 0.... and I loose money further. (I tried to supply the electronics factory in West-Berlin and produce goods for the supermarket.)

Pak128 looks nice... but it seems, that the graphics for rail transportation system (stations) and the vehicles are not so divers like in pak.german.

Is it possilbe to use more Addons (perhaps from the japanese-site) to make the transport system more divers?

Thank you for the map!

P.s: Is it possible to change the map from 128 resolution to 64? I don't mean the scenario... only the landscape and the city positions?

In addition to that: did you make a heightmap for your Berlin map? If so, can I have it and publish it on the Simutrans maps website?  :P

Well, it isn't easy. The test I was running was successful. But yes, to earn
money by transporting goods isn't well balanced. That's not a problem of
simutrans, it's only for this scenario.
