How to start the game?

Hi,

I want to play the game, I downloaded a version (normal) and was looking for a setup or sth. like that but I cannot find any. Can you give me a hint, how I can start the game?

DOubleclick simutrans exe.

The game is composed of :
=> the pak
=> the setup or "executable" or ...

There are several graphic paks for Simutrans, the three main paks are :
_ pak64 (I find it a bit small)
_ pak96 comic (nice)
_ pak128 (the biggest one and the most graphics varied one)

Donwnload the one you want.

The setup : It is the same for all paks. The last version is 100, many things have been changed or added in the 100 so take a version higher than 100 .


Unpack the setup and lauch it, it must tell you that you have to choose a pak. Then, unpack the pak (  ;D ) and add it in the Simutrans folder.

ok, now I know I have to look for the setup folder. The problem is I can't find any file type with "setup.exe" I only have data types as "pak" "tab" and sound files. I have 3 main folders with "config", "sound" and "text"

oh, I see, but what, if I only have the pak folder? and the setup folder is missing?
