r2173 windows/ gdi pak128 Crash when starting simutrans Wrong icon

When i start the Simutrans the game crashes and i get the following message: FATAL ERROR:werkzeug_t:init_menu
wrong icon (28) given for toolbar_tool[0][6]
Im using nightly 2173 and the latest 128 nightly pakset version 276.
However the game worked fine before i installed the nightly pakset version 276.
Any idea? maybe im missing some files?

Are you sure you loaded the real pak128 r276 or just the compatibility file - because the latter is all the nightly is page is showing me right now...

Yes i downloaded the real pak128 r276 nightly but for some reason the file have been removed from the page now. I wonder wich version of the pak128 is best to use?

I don't know. Usually the latest is best (unless one of "us" made a mistake in that) The last 40 or so changes were done by VS alone - and not small number of his changes are dealing with behind-the-scenes stuff or fine tuning - and I haven't followed that closely. Really big changes don't usually happen very often.

So either you wait for the next nightly (well by now its no longer a nightly but a weekly or a bi-weekly, I think) or just use the next older one to 276 - whatever that was.

Generally, the last should be always best, as the goal is to improve :D

What is wrong with the nightly page? I don't know, except that it indeed should show at least the last version. If I had to guess, the change to bi-weekly update might clash with changing the page every day, any nobody noticed. I pm-ed wernieman, maybe he knows, if not, Frank might.
