Revive attentions for overcrowded station

There is a category for "Station full" message in message center options, but this message is obsoleted and is not used anymore.
In old versions, 87.xx 88.xx, we got this message every month, "hogehoge station is crowded.", so we could know it at an earlier stage.

I think this message is still useful and desire reviving of this message.
Is it possible ?
Of course, this message should not be annoying for players, so first we must define the meaning of "overcrowded stations".

Old meanings:

for goods: factory cannot move all goods there

What about an option for giving unhappy p****engers free beer and guns?  Problem solved.  ::)

Too much damage to building...

My projects... Tools for messing with Simutrans graphics. Graphic archive - templates and some other stuff for painters. Development logs for most recent information on what is going on. And of course pak128!

NOTHX (no; thanks)

so first we must define the meaning of "overcrowded stations".

When a station/stop "overflows" its capacity.

If a stop has a capacity of 64 p****engers and has 65 or more for a certain period, then your stop is overcrowded. Solution: build an extension building or place another 1-tile stop.

If a platform has a capacity of 128 goods-units (t, m³, L, etc) and has 129 or more for a certain period, then your platform is overcrowded. Solution: idem.

I think it's what happens in real life, if your stock can't deal with big quantities/flows: simple, expand it.

(... preferentially, hire a good architect for it *Igor waves his hands*).

What about if it shows m? or L? ?  :-\ :-\

Definitely, of course.  ;) ;D

That have one problem, I think.  :)

In simutrans, usually people can't enter in stop if capacity was fill, and they became unhappy person.

capacity: 64 waiting:64 unhappy:5000 ...This is not "overflows" in your idea.
capacity: 64 waiting:65 unhappy:0 ... But this is "overflows".

For p****enger, overcrowded is more than 200 unhappy p****engers. (RED bar)

When do people actually get unhappy? If they have to wait for to long?
BTW stations with a capcity of 64 can actually cope with thousands of p****engers, if it's a transfer station (at least two lines). I would count that overcrowded in any case (with unhappy p****engers or without).

My point is the same.

Many players don't know the real meaning of unhappy peoples.
They only hate red bar and too many waiting peoples.
But they also don't care about it until overcrowded with 10,000 people.

I don't know why because it never happen in my game.  :P

I think we shouldn't confuse quality with quantity.

- quality is not to wait too much to get a bus, for example.

- quantity is number versus number, or else, capacity versus amount of p****engers.

Exactly what I was thinking about when I started reading this post... (after my joke answering to another joke above: MHA (My Humble Apologies) Igor)

But, in terms of quality, you can have overcrowded stations for transportation purposes without necessarily having unhappy p****engers?  :-\
