Simutrans Community has an IRC Channel.

It's a chat room. There, you can talk about anything on Simutrans. I'm there sometimes.

Simutrans' QuakeNet Webchat IRC

Just put a nickname and click on "Join chat".

For Mozilla Firefox users

If you have Mozilla Firefox, you can download and install the ChatZilla. Once installed, copy and paste the address in address bar of your browser, and Simutrans Chat Room will open.

For mIRC and other IRC programs users

If you use mIRC or another IRC program, probably you need these info:

Performance Buffer	/join #simutrans
identd server	aktivieren

If that doesn't work, this should:
http://webchat.quakenet.org/?channels=simutrans

This will work in your browser to make a connection to the Quakenet IRC network using their in-browser script. (it connects to #simutrans, which is the official channel, in case you want to use a third-party program)

Although it may well be slow, we are starting to try and monitor the channel. In fact, as I type this, a new member happened to come into the channel, and *gasp* I'm helping them... :-)

So please feel free to come by and hang out, and let's see if this can become a more useful part of our community.
