Problems with building a tunnel

Hi, I do have problems with building a tunnel.

If you open the attached save game (100.0, pak128) you see I build a tunnel entrance to build an underground network.

Then I added to other places of roads to have another 2 tunnel entrances. For some reason when I try to build a tunnel their (their is a label on the place where I want to start) simutrans gives a window 'Tunnels have to start on the end of a way' which is the case.

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, this is not possible, or this is a bug in simutrans.

If you built a tunnel using the Ctrl-key, only a tunnel-entrance will appear. Without Ctrl you get two tunnel-ends and a straight route in between. After switching to underground mode you can build ways using the tunnel tool, not the normal roadlaying tools.
In your savegame there are two tunnel entrances at the corner of your map. So it is not possible to connect a road here.

Nice to hear. Forgot to mention that the same rules apply for railways.

1) Build railtracks or road. Don't forget to build on slopes too.

2) Build tunnel entrances. Use Ctrl+Tunnel tool to build them in each entrance. You must use Ctrl+Tunnel tool if your tunnel entrances are unaligned.

3) Shift+u to turn Simutrans in Underground mode

4) Use the same tool you used to build tunnel entrances to build railtracks or road in underground level.

5) Done!

i come until the third part with two tunnel entrances. and i want build another tracks, but i can not see the tracks if i have built it.

Are you using underground mode (shift+u)?

And you can only build a new track if starting from an existing track.

yes & yes i start from existing track. i can do nothing when im using underground mode. i see only the 2 entrances.

A simple search on "underwater" would have brought you to this topic: http://forum.simutrans.com/index.php?topic=211.0. It has references to the old forum archive. The second reference will give you an excellent storyboard.
