Simutrans Problem

I dont know why it always says simutrans .exe has stopped working

I want to play it again because It is so nice

Please help me and write the instructions

Welcome to the forum kylejoszef. Sorry to hear you're having problems, but you're going to need to tell us some more details before we can help (e.g. which version, which pakset, when the error occurs, what it says, windows/linux/mac, etc etc...).

my version is 102 ,my pak is 64, and it says simutrans.exe has stopped working,and it is windows

:

When does it occur, e.g. what are you doing when simutrans stops. Is it at startup, during loading of a game etc.

well when the simutrans stops I just comment the simutrans team and ask a question,
it occurs yesterday night,yes it is a startup

Usually, when I have problems starting Simutrans, it is usually because I replaced or removed some files in the Simutrans folder, either by downloading the latest nightly, or overwritting the pak folder with a newer version which is not quite compatible. Could you try re-installing Simutrans in a new and different folder?

Did you try what LMallet said? Because that might be the root of the problem.

If you really want people to help, you should be more descriptive. So describe what you are doing, how you start Simutrans, what you see happening, what is happening just before Simutrans stops etc.

If you don't give a more accurate description, the only thing I can tell you is that Simutrans runs very well on my computer. But that won't help you, I'm afraid.

i am watching videos,i open simutrans folder and find the simutrans application ,it is loading but it stops,nothing happens.

The videos should be unrelated.

Is this a fresh Simutrans installation, or did you upgrade from an older installation?

Edit:

With "loading" you mean the process right after double-clicking the exe, and not map creation? Map creation is known to take a long while with unlucky settings.

No, it is the latest stable one. A lot of people use the latest nightly build, which is usually also quite stable, but might sometimes have unpleasant surprises, because it's brand new and untested. Use the seach button to find out where the latest nightly build can be obtained, if you want to use it.

By the way, I use the 102.0 version. If my trains get stuck then I want to be very sure that it is my own mistakes I'm after, not a developer's one...
