REQUEST: Enter Text Fields

With the Arrow buttons supplied to adjust the number of items to suit user's ideal settings, it does takes a while to slide from its default setting, to the desire settings. is it possible to have an Editable text field placed there so that user can type in the exact desire number one wants?

For example. In FACTORY BUILDER. I wanted to have my Grain Farm to produce 10 items per month, instead of 4000. Making it a very slow production turn over. Allowing me to build many farms to keep up with the demands. etc.. etc.., So instead of holding down the Arrow button to slide down, i just type 10 in the text field.

That would rather need a new button (which is not bad in itseld, since such buttons are used in many places, for instance the map selection). Moreover, this would certainly held GUI consitency, thus I support this. BUT: It will be a lot of stupid work, thus expect no fast results. (Or do it yourself to speed up things.)
