Issue with beginner mode in Ex 7.1

I am trying use teh beginner mode to model and test some revenue level changes in the 1830 time frame. Here are the lines from the config file in the Pak128-Britain-Ex04/config dir.

# in beginner mode, all good revenuses are multiplied by a factor (default 1500=1.5)
# jeff changed to model new revenue levels
beginner_price_factor = 4000

# use beginner mode for new maps
# jeff changed to active beginner mode
first_beginner = 1

---

A new game gets other setting changes in this file but does not seem to start in beginner mode and revenue levels are not changed.

Are there know issues with beginner mode in 7.1 or did I do something wrong?

Jeff,

I think that this issue was also reported in Simutrans-Standard; it may have been fixed in more recent nightlies. Try it again when I release 7.2, and please let me know if it still doesn't work. Thank you very much for your report.
