Online installer should avoid freeze or crash

As repoeted in http://forum.simutrans.com/index.php?topic=3920.msg38329#msg38329 ,
I heard many report the crash or freeze problems with online installer since it had been released.
I also tried using this online installer, and often caused crash or freeze.

I'm not sure the reason of this problem, but at least it should not freeze nor crash.

Most people which using online installer are beginner, they can't solve the problem by themselves.

The online installer works for me on XP and WIn7. I do not own Vista, for which just this report of Isaac exist. I never ever heard any complains, so I was unaware of a problem.

The installer is NSIS, the standard installer for winamp. Could somebody with Vista try to play aroung with the stuff in trunk/nsis and the NSIS installer? (From http://nsis.sourceforge.net/Main_Page) Even testing only and reporting conditions when it is not working would help.
