7.1 - Auto Signal Placement

I can't seem to get the auto signal placement feature to work correctly, the dialouge box closes as soon as I move my mouse over it. What's the correct way of using auto placement, and is there a way to turn it off?

I'm using experimental version 7.1 and pak 128 Britain 0.4.

welcome to the forum! Thank you for trying Simutrans-Experimental - I hope that you are enjoying it. There is a known bug in the auto signal placement feature in 7.1, which I am hoping will be fixed in 7.2: you should be able to use the system after downloading 7.2, on which I am currently working.
