Number of version

Could someone explain why current (regardless of it is only nightly) version has number 102.2.2 when previous version (I think it was only as nightly) had number 102.3? It is very odd (or strange?).

102.2.2 contains only bug fixed when compared with 102.2.1 and 102.2, whereas 102.3 contains new features. 102.2.2 is planned to be the next stable release.

So I would like to know which features from version 102.3 will not be in version 102.2.2 - and what features were not in 102.3 and will be in 102.2.2.

Links would be fully sufficient - if somewhere it is discussed.

All is gone. I downloaded hot nightly with number 3104 and found that sloped tunnels stayed in - and it was one thing I was afraid it is deleted. Else features implemented in 102.3 (but I am not sure sloped tunnels were implemented here) were not important to me - and some features could go around me less I noticed their presence.

I found I can still load game from version 102.3 and so I can continue.
