Hi!
How to construct the airport with several runways? If I build simply some runways nearby that planes use one the nearest, the second ignore and expect the turn in air or on the earth.

I think the planes search the shortes way.

Have you some oneway-signs in your plane-menu? Than you can use one way for starts and one for landing.

You can also seperate the docking bays, e.g. make certain bays only reachable from one runway (or one starting runway and one landing runway).

I usually build airports with 2 runways: 1 for landing and 1 for taking-off, using singnals, as Combuijs says.
Using that strategy, an airport can ****ume lots of traffic with very few jams.

But sometimes two runways cannot saturate all the traffic.
