Moscow metro stations are absolutely beautiful! they're true works of art. Several curious data about it:

I recommend two great books about Moscow metro: Metro 2033 and Metro 2034. Both are sci-fi novels but they reflect very well the atmosphere of the underground system.

As official photographer russos (see first post) has access to off-limits part of Metro.

Construction sites 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
Depot, "carwash".
Ghost station.
Tunnels 1, 2, 3, 4.

Wow this is an art of work!

Too bad that the local "Metros" or however you call it are not ready in Israel...

I wonder why my teacher ( Russian. ) did not say anything about it...

She is a russian teacher not a teacher for russian. :S She is like 1.5 millions of russians in Israel... And she is not from a crazy place in ciberia...
