If you're on Windows, a free editor that understands *nix line endings is http://pspad.com/ (also it's a good editor anyway, though everyone has their own preferences)

Also, this may not be in all paks - at least, I could never find it in pak128...

I just want the "change-company-name" comes in SimuTrans.
