How to do electric trains?

Hi all,

I know how to electrify the tracks. I also know how to put a transformer next to some power station and then connect that transformer with a powerline. However I don't know how to connect the powerline to the rails. It doesn't seem to allow me to do that. I cannot put a transformer next to the rails or depot either. In the depot I cannot see any electric locomotives or trains.

So how do I use electric trains?

Actually, you don't need to place a transformer near an electrified track. Say, tracks electrification has its own energy.

If trains are not showing up, maybe:

1) if time line is activated, the introduction year of electrified locomotives didn't arrive yet.

2) you must electrify tracks, including the tracks in depot. Yes, there's a small piece of track inside there.
